Telemetry & Cookie Controls
Last Updated: July 2026
1. The Sovereign Telemetry Doctrine
At ESERIA Systems Ltd., we reject the legacy practice of covert tracking. Our ecosystem—spanning eseria.org, institute.eseria.org, citadel.eseria.org, and uncaved.eseria.org—employs precision telemetry designed exclusively to maintain structural integrity, accelerate Next.js edge rendering, and optimize the Vanguard Academy experience. In strict accordance with the Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA) 2023 and the NDPC’s General Application and Implementation Directive (GAID) 2025, you retain absolute control over non-essential tracking.
2. Granular Consent & Active Opt-In
We operate on a default-deny architecture. No non-essential cookies, analytics trackers, or advertising pixels will execute on your device until you provide explicit, affirmative consent. Pre-ticked boxes or "implied consent by scrolling" are classified as structural failures and are not utilized within the ESERIA network.
3. Categorization of System Telemetry
Our infrastructure utilizes the following data packets:
- Essential State Management (Always Active): These are non-negotiable cryptographic tokens required for the ecosystem to function. They include Django CSRF (Cross-Site Request Forgery) defense tokens, Next.js routing states, and secure authentication sessions. Without these, the Citadel cannot securely identify you or process your ESERIA Credits (ƩC). These cannot be disabled.
- Performance & Analytics Telemetry (Requires Opt-In): These scripts measure node execution speed, latency, and interaction paths within the Citadel Academy. We use this aggregated data to refine our Agentic AI response times and eliminate friction in our UI.
- Marketing & Advertising (Requires Opt-In): We do not utilize third-party data brokers. However, if you explicitly opt-in, we may use targeted cookies to deliver specific ESERIA architectural updates or Vanguard Academy cohort announcements across external networks.
4. The Right of Easy Withdrawal
Under NDPA 2023 Section 26, your right to revoke consent must be as effortless as your right to grant it. We provide a persistent "Cookie Settings" gateway in the footer of every ESERIA domain. You may open this gateway at any time to instantly downgrade your telemetry permissions, severing all non-essential data streams without compromising your core platform access.
5. Third-Party Infrastructure Notice
While ESERIA dictates the overarching telemetry rules, certain embedded assets (such as secure AWS video delivery or Firebase identity checks) may utilize localized storage mechanisms to execute their functions. These are strictly governed by our overarching privacy architecture and NDPC-compliant data processing agreements.
6. Audit & Accountability
Every consent decision you make—whether an acceptance, granular adjustment, or total rejection—is securely logged with a timestamp and consent version. This cryptographic log ensures ESERIA remains fully accountable to you and to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission during compliance audits.
